2.5” and 4” Commercial & Home Drinking Water Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membranes

Systems producing up to 2 m3/hr (10 gpm) are considered as commercial applications.

Commercial RO membranes are used to:

• Purify water for commercial drinking water purpose (e.g. gastronomy / restaurant purposes)
• Produce purified water for laboratory uses
• Purify water to provide rinse water which is spot-free (e.g. Car Wash Units)
• Produce purified water for haemodialysis units
• Purify water for all applications where low mineral content water is desired

RO removes hardness and excess minerals, odor, color and other organic compounds that negatively impact water quality. Customers with commercial RO systems are for example:

• Car Washes: Excess minerals cause spotting of freshly washed cars. RO is used to produce spot-free rinse water.
• Restaurants: RO purified water improves the taste of drinking water, ice and other beverages, eliminates scaling of steam tables, and provides spot-free rinse water.
• Water Vending: Both water vending machines and bottling plants use RO to produce safe, healthy, good-tasting water.
• Marine: Ocean-going boats and yachts purify seawater with RO to produce drinking water.
• Dialysis: Hospitals, dialysis clinics and in-home dialysis machines require high quality dialyzed water. RO is widely used to produce the required quality water.
• Laboratories: High purity water is used for sample preparation, rinsing glassware and other lab uses.

2'' Home Drinking Water Membranes

Home drinking water RO is used to purify tap water for drinking in homes. This application is generally referred to as "point of use" (POU).

Home drinking water RO can be used to remove excess or harmful minerals, removes odour, colour and other organic compounds, which contribute to bad taste or health concerns.
