| Overview UF Pressurized HFU/HFS Series |
The material of Toray"s Hollow Fiber (HF) Pressurized Ultrafiltration (UF) modules is PVDF (Poly Vinylidene Flouride). This best grade HF membrane material provides high mechanical strength and chemical resistance (oxidation, pH). Two HF UF membranes with different nominal pore size are available:
- Ultrafiltration HFS-Type: 0.02 µm
- Ultrafiltration HFU-Type: 150 kDa (0.01 µm)
The Filtration mode is an Outside –In & Dead-End Filtration. This filtration method offers simple operating control and low energy consumption.
The possibility of the filtration of Ground Water, Surface Water, Sewage Secondary Effluent and Seawater allows a wide range of different applications:
- Drinking Water Production
- Waste Water Reuse
- Pretreatment for RO Membrane Processes
- Crud Removal in Condensate of Boiler Water
- Industrial Water Treatment
Toray’s Hollow Fiber Modules are available as microfiltration (HFM-Type) or ultrafiltration (HFS-Type) modules in a wide range of membrane area.
